After receiving a BSc in economics, finance and law from Sciences Po, Paris in 1986, Richard di Benedetto went on to work at General Electric for around 15 years. During his time there, he successfully climbed the ladder, becoming CEO of Healthcare for the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and Russia. After a stint as CEO of Euromedic, di Benedetto went on to head Aetna International, one of the world’s largest health insurers, in 2013. Since then, he has overseen Aetna’s successful expansion by developing new solutions to improve healthcare provisions. He continues to lead the company’s organic growth, particularly through partnerships, in order to enhance Aetna’s global presence.
