Johan Brinkenberg was appointed as CEO of Nordic Guarantee in 2013, when the Swedish insurance company had already been operating for a decade. At the time, it was in need of a leader to put the depressed business back on track. Under Brinkenberg’s administration, the firm has expanded its business beyond Scandinavia, reaching as far as South Africa, thanks to an alliance with Lombard Insurance Company. Prior to his commanding position, Brinkenberg served as Nordic Guarantee’s CFO from 2004. He later became the driving force behind the company’s transformation from a guarantee issuer for the construction sector into a multi-industry player.
