Founded in 1854, Baglietto is one of the oldest shipyards in the world. With a fleet that ranges from military vessels to award-winning luxury yachts, the company is a significant part of Italian history. Recent investment has been made to widen the shipyard infrastructure, allowing for the construction of motor yachts up to 65m and superyachts up to 70m in length. CEO Michele Gavino joined the company as its managing director in 2015 before taking up the top role the following year, bringing with him expertise from the rubber and plastic, production engineering, beer-brewing and aeronautical engineering industries.
