Paolo Scaroni has been in the driving seat of Italian energy company Eni since June 2005.
After obtaining an economics degree from Milan’s Università Luigi Bocconi, he worked for three years at Chevron before obtaining his MBA from Columbia University and commencing his career at Saint Gobain. In business, Scaroni is a strong advocate of solid decision-making processes that are underpinned by a holistic approach. Prior to joining Eni he gained valuable experience at electricity utility group Enel. Scaroni is the muscle behind Eni’s ambitions in Russia and Africa, and has shown his aspirations by visiting both for future collaboration.
